I was a delivery driver for a while a few months ago and I had the window open and rain had come in onto the window and lock controls on the driver's side.

Shortly after the controls would.only work if my door is halfway open. It seems like either a short or however the door controls are actuated it's almost like it has shifted

Obviously you can understand it's.super inconvenient and a pain to not being able to control windows and locks from driver seat un less the door is half open.

I don't see any hinge pin or actuator on door I am assuming this will be an internal part that is shorting or somehow damaged or shifted, I hope.someone may be able to give me a lead to where I can see the spot I need to focus on for.this problem

Do you have access to a scanner, the door will display codes if there are problems

No access to scanner unless I take it to a shop which I am trying to avoid.

Well you could buy one, the scanner will save you the time and money you would’ve spent getting a diagnostics report from the shop, there is one called FIXD, less than $100
