TCM /ECU 722.8 REPAIR ( GEL QUESTION)
Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on repairing the transition control unit for the B-CLASS B200 (277.8). I have successfully soldered all the damaged wires and cleaned up some of the parts on the board. However, I still need to apply a new insulation gel to protect the wires from vibration and connection corrosion.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could advise me on what type of gel to use and where to purchase it from. Alternatively, if anyone knows how to make a similar gel, please share your expertise.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I have seen Sylgard 186 used in similar applications, it's expensive, an RTV silicone should also work, a lot less expensive.
