Car started running hotter than normal
I have read some threads saying that the Radiator fan should kick in just after 80 degrees , my 2012 B180 Sport normally sits dead on 80 but a few weeks ago the car was left running in the mot bay ready for its emissions test and when he lifted the bonnet there was some coolant around the bottle and a small puddle on the floor.and the temp gauge was showing just over the 80 mark, (The same as in the photo shown) Today it went back over the 80 again on the way home and when I stopped I left the engine running and opened the bonnet. No sign of coolant leak this time but I did notice the fan was not running. So should it be running at this temperature and if so what is my first port of call (I assume fuse box) which fuse am I looking for and where abouts ( Not had the car that long to know where it is) Thanks

Your photo looks like the temp my car usually runs at when warmed up
i did replace the hose and cracked coolant tank earlier this year due to a small leak
I normally only hear the fan running when outside temps above, say, 30 C
If you connect a scanner, any codes showing?
