ECU issues MB B150 / W245

Hi, Wonder if anyone could give me a good advise when it comes to issues I have with the ECU in my car. For a while it has been trouble to start my car, and when it first start up it might stop in the middel of the traffic.Engine light is on and when doing a diagnose it says that there are issues with the ECU. Description is "N3/10 (ME-SFI [ME] control unit)/Fault[P0605]", with ID "0064-001". The strange thing here is when I erase this code the car can be working fine for several days before it comes back. And I might come back directly?! Have any of you been up for this issue, if so I would appreciate some advise if possible. The car is an 2008 model, so if the ECU is really broken, then I will just have to scrap the car, there is no chance that the cost for a new ECU will be a good idea...

before you go to the stealer, check your battery and alternator voltage. 12.7V min engine off and 13.7v engine on. Anything less and you have a weak battery or alternator and this drop in voltage will play havoc witu your modules especially on this car.

Check all the ground points to your engine and ECU. You mighy have a loose one or where it attaches to the body has corroded.

After that
Check Wiring and Connections:Inspect the wiring and connectors around the ECU for corrosion or damage. ECU Reprogramming/Update:Visit a stealer or a indy mechanic to check if the ECU needs a software update.
Test and Replace the ECU. You can buy a 2nd hand one but it will need to be coded to your car for it to work.

BlackML550,

Sorry for late reply on this advice, have been away working.

Battery and alternator are in good shape, changed both 14 months ago. It was actually after this these issues started for me....

I have checked around wiring and connections, but can't see anything wrong there. When it comes to ground points, I have to admit that I really don't know where to look or where I might find these points.
Since the car might start up and run fine for several days, I have a feeling that this might be where the issue is hidden. But I can't really find any corroded ot loose points....
