It'll be co-developed with Tesla to boot. It'll probably be in a class of it's own when it arrives too. The only other all electric small car is Nissan's Leaf. BMW and Audi have similar machines in the works, but none that actually have a release date. We'll see how this pans out for Mercedes in a few years.

They are making it to compete with the leaf and volt, and a hybrid can't do that. Telsa cars are fast so I would hope this has more power then any of the hybrids.
