New member checking in with coolant system problem
Hello everyone, I just encountered a problem with my 07 b200 (w245) turbo. I was having some over heating issues and I changed the thermostat, didn’t seem to be the problem.
I have encountered a problem with my car, it used to be 80 degrees and now is around just below 90, so I started to look into it. I changed the thermostat, that wasn’t the problem, after a while the blower motor was no longer turning on and I noticed the radiator fan was also not turning on. I took the fan out to look for corrosion and it didn’t seem to have much corrosion.
I have a couple of questions,
is the relay inside the fan control module,
there should be a main fuse but i don’t have the fuse locations and I couldn’t find it online.
Does anyone have a working diagram for the radiator fan so I can do some test to see if that’s the problem.
Thanks again to everyone here and I hope everyone has a nice day.
cheers
I’m going to be testing the rad harness for power with my test light but anyone can locate the correct fuse diagram and help me a bit thanks also what pins am I supposed to have current on?
