My 2010 B180 appears to be missing the anti-theft valve from the top of the fuel filler neck. Its my daughter's car and I don't recall if there was one to start with. Its got a bouncing fuel sender unit and filling issues and finding out if there should be a flap will help before I drop the tank. Photo of existing fuel filler below. Any assistance appreciatted.
Ive resolved this issue - even though I never worked out if a flap was in fact there to begin with - you don't need one. I had to change the tank due to rust and we didnt find a flap anywhere in the old tank, so I can only assume that there was never one there to begin with.
