Transmission consult workshop

Hello,
Looking for any advice or help, feeling sick right now..
Had my 2008 B Class for 6 years, been fine all that time. In July 2023 had a transmission issue, it went into limp mode. Took it to my local Merc independent garage in Exeter who sent off the control unit, came back and my car has been fine since...
Until tonight.
Driving home, it came back with the Transmission consult workshop fault and into limp mode. Turned car off and back on and drove home fine. I've got a code reader so plugged that in and has come back with a code 6319 - ive attached the image. Surely not another expensive repair? I can't afford it. No other codes except 6319, could anyone advise what this could mean? Many thanks

You need to provide more details. Any other codes?

Have you checked your battery and altnernator for voltage (min 11.7v engine off and 13.7 engine on). A small drop in voltage alone can trigger the code you have. I helped someone today with exactly that problem and the same code/message. Had a flat battery or need to jump start it?

How many miles? Was the last repair a complete rebuild?

Hello, many thanks for your reply.
when I checked the fault codes using my scanner that was the only code that came up, it couldn't find any others. It's 85k miles, I think it was the ECU that was sent off for repair in July, when it came back the Mercedes independent garage and it has been fine since, until Sunday. AHH, well funnily enough i did think the other day that the battery has not been changed in the 6 years I've had the car, I don't think I've got a tool to check the voltage though. I drove the kids to school yesterday and it drove fine, but im really worried driving it in case it does go to limp mode again. Many thanks

You have a scan tool as shown by the picture in your 1st post? You will find the voltage within the data there. 100%. Its a vital part of the whole diagnosis. Make sure your scan tool is one that reads MB specific codes and not just OBDII codes.
