P225101 - Error Code
Hi everyone..
I have used a OBD diagnostic tool as the engine management light appeared.
I have googled the code but not finding anything related.
Would anyone know what the code P225101 is and what fix is needed to repair it please.
Thank you.

P225101 might be better read as P2251 - 01. The 01 being the upstream Oxygen sensor before the catalytic convertor. P2251 - 02 would be the downstream sensor based on that.
What are the symptoms, how far has the car travelled and what scan tool did you use? Is is MB code specific?

I have had this replaced but unfortunately the EML has lit again and it is still showing the same code. Could the Sensor fitted be faulty or could there be an issue elsewhere which causes this to show?

Thank you. I used a different app with my reader. Its a generic one i purchaed off Ebay. Yes the 01 would be sensor 01.

There's plenty of evidence that after market oxygen sensors can be incompatable even though they state that they are compataible. Many take the view on O2s that its best to replace with original parts or at least, from the manufacturer of the original part which you can find in the after market. Do you know the brand of the new part that was installed?
Im pretty sure the Sensor the garage fitted was a BOSCH one..
