Its still the fact that I was sent something other than what I was paid for and the mess that it caused. Having access to auto auctions as a dealer and being able to buy from there, especially recovered theft / seized vehicles makes it very easy at times for someone to afford those. But yes, I do own all three...

If you guys paid a USPS postal money order> Go to your local post office. ask for a money order inquiry. They can trace it for you. They will mail you a zerox copy of the money order you sent & the bank it was deposited with a signature of the depositor in the back. This might help.

You can also inquire about money order fraud from USPS.

Hope this helps.. I got burned already a few times before but not that much... still its still hard earned money...

I'm sorry, but I would never send cash through the mail nor send money orders...PayPal only! That way you know the seller is legit!

I would love to see this guy end up in Jail and someone from the group be there to take a picture of him, and post it on here in cuffs.

I hope everyone gets their money back. It's really horrible to see this kind of crap.. The one guy did so far, I wish the ******* was put in jail right away.

1. Never use money order.
2. US postal service tracking numbers DO only show status once it's shipped. It's the cheaper ones that have this ability. It's the more expensive ones and UPS of course that has tracking numbers that allow you to see where the package is at all times once it's been processed.

Maybe a new format is in order for selers on the site. And Im sure honest sellers wont mind.

When selling an item take a picture of the item and in the picture must be a piece of paper with the username of the owner or poster on it. Payment is up to the buyers discretion though.

What do you guys think

All other listings will be shut down

we should have a system in place, such as feedback rating like the one used in ebay and E90 forum where the buyers can check the sellers' references.
in that case, if the sellers are getting negative feedback,
members will not buy from them.

Any update on this?

I know that if you sent money via mail, and he listed it via Internet, thats wire and mail fraud. Both are federal crimes and you NEED the FBI not the local police.

If you need the FBI number here in Tampa, which willl oversee Brandon (Redneck **** hole just east of here) I can supply it. PM me for the number to an agent I know.

Your money is lost and gone. If convicted, he will have restitution, most likely. Which, after he gets out of jail(actually giving the circumstances, with the points he will probably get probation) you might get some money back eventually.
