Does anyone know if the new c-coupe has an sd slot?
I use SDHC cards for music in my other car and planned to do the same in the c-class, but now I have no idea if it actually has an sd slot!
Can anyone who has the car already please confirm? also, does it take SDHC cards?
thanks!
What I did notice though is that the navigation won't let you save your own personal POI without an SD card, despite the system having a 10gb storage space for music. Which I have also yet to figure out how to use. @.@

That's why my original plan was an sd card... but HDD would be best!
Thanks again for the quick answers everyone
so excited!!

Regardless, I have been able to play music from -
Sirius Radio
HD Radio
SD Card in the dash in WMA format
USB port in the storage compartment
Via Bluetooth from a storage card on my BlackBerry
Ipad using the IPod adapter in the storage compartment
Oh, there is also a Weather Band Radio.
And I haven't tried it yet but I believe you can Rip music from CDs onto the 10 GB HD, but that is probably the only way to use it. I have not found a way to do it from SD, USB or IPOD. The manual only describing Ripping music.
A little overkill don't you think?
I hope there is some sort of a hack in the future to put mp3s on hdd...

This is why it is confusing. Mine HAS the changer as well. Maybe that is the difference between the S32 and the S34 and Multimedia included the rear camera. I also have the camera and Logic 7
1. 6 disc changer; will play CDs and DVDs (when in Park, but this can be modded with a physical interrupt).
2. HD Sirius Radio
3. SD Card: so far I've got a 16GB working. SDHC will work also (I believe but haven't verified).
4. USB Stick: so far I've got a 32GB working. This is in the center console.
5. Aux: haven't tried it yet. This is also in the center console.
6. Bluethooth Audio: works with both my WP7 phone and my Android 2.3.4 tablet. I think you just need the AD2P stack on the target device to get audio... but whatever the WP7 device has it allows the car complete access to the library and controls, instead of just Play/Pause/Rewind/Forward.
7. Navigation
8. Rear View Camera
9. Voice Command... though it's not intuitive. I've had my car since 10/7/2011 and I just now figured out how to find people using voice only without having a prior voice tag on that contact. It could definitely use a few pointers from Microsoft or (gag) SchmApple.
I don't think mine came with the iPod/iPhone direct option... but I haven't looked for that because I don't have one. ;-)
HTH!
