New C250 in the driveway! :)

Hey guys,

New to the MB world so just wanted to introduce myself and post a photo of our new C250. I tune turbo BMW's for a living so when I heard MB offered a new turbo C class my ears perked up... Turbos almost always equal untapped performance potential. And for a four banger it's no slouch out of the box.

I've only got 200 miles on it but have already started tearing it apart and studying the new power plant. I'll be doing baseline dyno testing, VBOX testing, etc, soon and can't wait to share the results.

Until then here is a picture of my son posing in front of the new ride.

Welcome, but this forum is for the W204 coupes. Your thread should really be under the W204 sedan section.

Anyways...welcome to MBWorld.org!

Oops!

I'm actually less interested in the body style and more interested in technical and performance discussion. Where do the gear heads hang out around here?

As a guy who is familar with BMW's how are you finding the light steering of the C250?

I prefer the BMW feel but overall at least with the C250 it isn't too bad. My only complaints are the lag if you manage to catch it at low speed in a high gear. Like say 10mph coming out of a slow turn, etc. Will be working on that on the tuning end.
