The Best of Mercedes & AMG
There actually is one muffler, but I couldn't get a good shot of it. I put in a magnapack before the y-pipe right after the second cat. I then had straight piped to the quad tips from there (removing the resonator and muffler).
There is almost no drone and I think it sounds very good. However, its not as loud as I would have imagined. I am contemplating taking out the magnapack and doing a pure straight pipe setup for louder volume (since turbos silence exhaust down a bit).
Now to the interesting part, this is DEFINITELY a supporting mod for the tune and intake from burger tuning. Previously when I was WOT and the car would shift, you would feel like the engine gets bogged down and you stop accelerating for a split second until the tranny completes the shift. Now I feel like the car lurches forward on shifts and you hear a sick sounding rush of air exit the tail-pipes. I will try to catch this on a drive-by on video.
Not to mention, that previously where the car pulled well from 65-80, now the car pulls like that from 55-70 and even HARDER 70-85. I am in love with this mod, and best of all, it doesn't sound like a ricer civic and actually resembles a v6 sound, very satisfied.
