For what its worth, if you just spray the entire grille with enough coats (allowing enough drying time in between) I wonder if you can just use a razor blade to cut it right behind the chrome strips and remove it from the chrome?

I would say from doing it the most important part to make your life easier it to remove the grille.
-What wheels are those? Size, offset etc....did you use wheel spacers?
-What lowering springs did you order and how much drop? Do you notice a big difference in ride quality? Any rubbing?
-Is that a totally new grille or you painted yours?

You painted the side markers by yourself or professionally?
Have a couple questions, not sure if these are already answered in a different thread.

~ the wheels are 19" (8.5 front & 9.5 rear)... and the offset is perfect (48/50) with no spacers needed. the wheels are a replica CL65 wheel and are no longer produced in that offset.
i am having them painted mb billiant silver where the inlay in currently gray come winter.-What lowering springs did you order and how much drop? Do you notice a big difference in ride quality? Any rubbing?
~ the springs are the eibach pro-kit (not available in the US as of yet - i ordered them from germany directly and had them overnighted). the drop was appx an inch front and rear. i did end up changing the spring pad to a 5mm to get the rear lower than the springs allowed). no rubbing what-so-ever.

~ the grill is from the 2013 sport c coupe... a factory part from benz.

~ i purchased new markers from mercedes and had them professionally painted to match.

Is there a difference between the grill you got and the stock 2012 grill with the silver fins painted?
I got everything painted professionally. My father owns a body shop so I get things like that done for free.
