I just recently leased a c250 coupe and i wanna purchase a factory style rear spoiler... can any1 point me in the right direction of which one fits and is a replica or is the original that would have come with a pre configured c-coupe with a spoiler?

this is the only decent one i've seen so far. The seller guaranteed it fits factory style on c250

If I were you, I would look into seeing if the trunklid for the new 2012 models (with the coupe in particular) is the same as pre-facelift w204 models (2008-2011). If so, then you will have a HUGE assortment to choose from.

Actually, come to think of it, I will testfit my old spoiler from my 2009 c300 on my brothers c250 coupe that has no spoiler (luckily, mine does...). That is, if I get around to it ;-)

I'm just about ready to pull the trigger on a rear spoiler specifically for a MY 2012 coupe. But will wait to see if someone can confirm if the old w204 spoilers will work cuz that'll REALLY open up the choices..

i have the original cf spoiler for the 08 models. and i tried putting it on it without the 3m tape. the edges of the spoiler kinda pours out of the trunk (barely) not too bad still looks good. but when you looking up near from the license plates you can see there is like a space/gap ( the bottom part of the spoiler isnt reaching the trunk lid?

Oops, I knew I forgot to do something! I will do this when I get home and take pictures. The trunklid *appears* to have remained unchanged, but you never know, I will let you know of the results tonight.

I wonder if the brabus style spoiler will fit on on the coupe as they do on the pre facelift sedan. That would be sick.

Old spoiler will NOT fit the coupe.

I actually bought the spoiler P/N A204 793 01 88 and it doesn't fit. The sides of the spoiler don't line up as they should with the edges of the trunk, and if you put a little pressure to align them, then the middle part separates (obviously). Also, when the spoiler is sitting flush with the trunk and you look at it from the side, the contour of the trunk and spoiler are different, leaving a part of the spoiler not touching the trunk where it should since it has tape on that area.

I'm supposed to receive the new spoiler sometime next week, so I will report back once I do. If it does fit, I will provide all the details.

Yes, I can confirm that spoilers made for the pre-facelift 2008-2011 sedans will NOT fit the coupes, it is slightly too wide, but that isn't the main issue. The biggest problem is that the curvature of the trunk lid is different. So either the spoiler touches in the middle and the sides stick up, or the spoiler touches on the sides with the middle sticking up.

you have a C300 sedan, right? didn't they just say that the sedan spoilers won't fit?
