Sorry the photo is only a phone pic, it doesn't really show how well the shape of the black "mesh" matches the factory grille perfectly. The finish is glossier, but looks really good in person. I think it changes the entire visual character of the car, and IMO not having the chrome surround gives a sportier, more aggressive look.

The install was very simple, and as has been mentioned before, the original top T shaped attachments don't reach the new grill. However the rest of the mounting points are quite secure, and I have no concern at all about it remaining tightly in place.

This grille was from CKS in the UK, and it arrived in only a couple of days with no hassle. I'm completely impressed with them.

That's actually the sports/avantgarde grille for the W204 sedan/estate models.
All grilles for all W204 models (sedan, estate and coupe) are interchangeable, except for C63 models.

That's the SL-style grille.
My only concern, though minor, is that I think the star and middle fin sits a little too low in the grille opening and not having a frame around the grille makes the opening look a little to gaping especially with the newer style pinched headlights and with a lighter body colour.

The star sits in the exact same position as the original grille. Could be the phone photo alters the perspective. Personally I dislike the chrome surround of the C63 grille, and deliberately chose this grille for the clean transition from grille to body (like the original does) without the chrome trim.
I'll post camera photos that are less distorted and show the entire car after the new wheels are mounted.

Here's a shot of the car with grille and new 19" VMR wheels installed. I think this combination creates a more aggressive, sportier look.

45 Both front and rear. The wheels fill out the opening pretty fully since they are 8.5/9.5, without really extending beyond the lip.

I want to get the C63 style grill, but I also want to get the C63 hood(bonnet). I think I will get the grill after I get the hood, to make sure I get the correct grill. Any have any suggestions?

Mansory is working on this, no pricing yet. I think I may go this route:

They have two versions, soft body and wide body. Both are very nice. I think I will go with the soft body version.

Guys - I have an update. I spoke with a distributor.... his 1st grills didn't fit the cars well. However, he has the 2 piece grills with OEM fitment coming in. He is going to send me pics. He is working with a local guy that has a car so he will see 1st hand.

The coupe and sedan grills he indicated were the same - Its the AMG cars that obviously have different grills.

He should have the grill installed on test car within a week or 2... so stay tuned.

I bought one from that tech55 place (same ebay seller). It is a 2 piece but the top part really doesnt attach very well. They included screws to screw in the top part to your hood but it doesn't even fit. Ended up using glue to get it to stick. It does LOOK pretty good though

I noticed that 55Tech are now including a note on their ebay listings to indicate that it doesn't fit well on the 2012 models.

I too am keen to see what aowhaus thinks after installing his grille. I'm especially keen to see what the painted slat looks like as i've been thinking of doing the exact same thing.

Does anyone know if the 2014 models are the exact same as the 2013 models? I would think so.

any new updates on the 55tech's c63 looking grilles and how they fit on a 2013/2014?
