I LOVE the grill and lower front.Originally Posted by cavasotti

I think the rear spoiler doesn't flow.. you have silver wheels and a white car... its a little too much. If it was carbon fiber and you had a lot of other carbon fiber accents, then ok... like diffuser, front lip, etc.
The mirrors I don't like as well. The OEM looks aggressive and sexy with the dark streaky look of the OEM light design on contrast to the white mirror.
Do you know where to buy the glossy application to add once the matte stuff dries? if you don't want to experiment with the glossy, I will buy it and we can do the same to my car using that (as someone said the c63 has glossy lower front and grill slates)... but we have to wait till July
if you don't want to try first.Member

i do like the OEM side mirrors the same color as the car.. we will see how it goes.. once I black out the wheels I think the rear spoiler will look nice, however, i dont really like it black either.. it was fun to do it though..

plastidipped my wheels today. I wanted to leave the spokes silver but it is soooooooo hard to mask the wheel and finish plastidipping.. so i tried it first, it was looking beautiful but i couldnt make it perfect and at that point it was going to be hard to take the plastidip off so I went ahead and painted the whole thing.. will most likely take this off and try to get it powder coated.. car looks so much better with dark wheels (in my opinion.) yes I left the outer ring silver and I did that by using an old shirt and wiping the plastidip off that area every time it got dirty. it doesnt look that perfect from up close, but gives me a nice idea of the look so I can try to powder coat.

if I have time tomorrow I will try to make it look better and take better pictures..

Looks cool I guess... I love that diamantweiss, is it hard to keep clean and maintain? Any chance of some daytime outdoor pics? I'm contemplating this color for my next lease especially if Mercedes, adds red mb-tex as an option in the sports sedan.

Yeah I would have left the wheel hub cap chrome to give it more contrast.Originally Posted by MBfinatic

I agree I will peel it off today.. also the cap isnt really only the star like the C63, so I didnt know it was going to look good. I will see it today.. Originally Posted by DinB

Can you take some pics with your regular camera with it peeled off?
Also as its been some time.. how has the grill and bumper stayed with the plastidip? How many miles since you did the lower bumper, and how many car washes? Just wanted to see how its held up with rocks on highway, washes, time, etc.

i probably drove about 400 miles with lower bumper and grill. one car wash but I asked them not to rub the black parts. it is holding up pretty well with no signs of wear at all. the weather is ugly today, I will peel it off later and maybe take a picture tomorrow?! I want to redo the rims leaving the spokes silver. I am thinking of a technique to do it well.. when I have time I will try it again.Originally Posted by InTheBenz0
