iPhone for COMAND

Hi, everyone.
Ive been enjoying my c350 very much, its a perfect car.
But,
I ran into some troubles connecting my iphone via bluetooth.
The BT audio and calling function still works perfectly, but
does anybody know how to get the message function to work?
It has the message function listed on the bottom of the screen but Im not able to click on it.

Final question, does MB support video playing from phone?
I tried playing youtube last time from my phone but only audio came out.
Maybe because they did not include this function due to safety reasons?

THANKS

Can't do it with the iphone as of right now. It's really a phone dependent feature, so not all phones will work. As for video, I don't believe you can bluetooth stream video, only audio. If you have it plugged into the connector, you might be able to though.

Honestly, my phone works (Blackberry Bold 9930) and I never use the feature anyway. I find it locks up my Nav more often than not, forcing it to restart after about a minute of being frozen. It usually happens if I check the message too fast after it beeps at me, so I don't even bother with it anymore. Its actually one of my main gripes about the car. Its fantastic otherwise.

I use mine all the time and i find that its great. One thing that i found was awesome was without even downloading contacts i could "call name" anyone in my phone book and it would find it. Even people with weird names. I havent had it freeze up once yet. i check my msg right away usually as well, but on the phone because i cant stand when they read the messages, it sounds so dumb. Also the fact that you have to pull out your phone anyway to msg back.
