C200 Kompressor Sportcoupe gearbox problem.

C200 Kompressor Sportcoupe gearbox problem.
I bought a 2002 C200 sportcoupe with a 6 speeds manual and sequential transmission 3 months ago. Thing is that the car is sitting at my garage as I can't start it because gearbox won't change to N (I took the car out of the garage heading to my office but when shifting to A nothing happened, Light that indicates gears in the dash is solid orange with no readings at all. The only signs I get when turning the ignition key is a little noise that looks like some actuator is working but nothing happens. Tried to move the car and is in N position so it can be moved back or forward but the display shows nothing, so it won't start

C230 Seq auto
Hi
I am in the midst of shopping for a 2001-2003 C230 coupe in Hong Kong. I was searching for more information on the Seq Auto with very little luck. I drove the Smart ForTwo once with the Seq Auto but not sure how that compare to the seq auto in the C230. My wife is a normal driver but I like to have a little more fun while driving her car at times. I was reading the seq auto is fun but I have some question. The available used C230 comes in Seq mo then the Auto version. I wonder if there is some major problems in this transmission. I would expect the drive for the seq in A mode to be similar to the normal auto for my wife. I want to know if its hard to control and also is the repair cost for such seq transmission be super expensive or what.
If anyone can have some advise that would be great.
