has anyone added wheel spacers to the rear of their coupe w/ stock wheels?
i am looking to add spacers to just the rear of the c coupe… the car has the 18" amg double spoke wheels.
reasoning… when i look down the side of the car the rear wheels seem to be a bit more recessed (pushed in) than the front wheels... i prefer a more aggressive stance and at bare minimum aligning the front and rear wheels with one another... pushing the wheel out closer to the edge of the rear quarter… i'm not looking for them to even be close to outside the lip.
has anyone done this as of yet with the stock 18” rims and if so... what size spacer and size did one use? 10mm, 12mm or 15mm? and what name brand? eibach, h&r, or a universal brand sold on ebay? i will only purchase a hub centric set up and also prefer the longer lugs to match the factory type for aesthetic purposes.
thank in advance for your input.

i found a set of h&r trak+ spacers but need to determine what size to give the car the right look (10, 12, 15 mm)?
hoping someone has some pictures to post before & after... for i don't take delivery of the car until months end...

dont spacers make your cars rub against the wheel fender?
I also have the 18" amgs and I just dropped my car on super sports and I want my rears flush out more... but i am just scared even 5mm will make it hit the outside fender over bumps... anyone worried about that?

looks good. I don't know if it's from the pictures, but I think the fronts look fine. However, it looks like you could also have done 15mm spacers on the rear.

~ i have finally finished toying around with sizes and found the correct spacers for the perfect stance & spacing ...
5mm front & 10mm rear are the set up (see pics)...
the end result provides a more bold & muscular stance... lowering springs (when available)... will complete the look.

Still wish the orange reflector on the bumper was the same color white!

Bump,
Has anyone tried going with an even more aggressive wheel spaers (25mm or 30mm) on stock wheels and stock height? Even with 10 mm spacers, the wheels still look tucked in - I honestly don't see much difference at all from the pictures.
Perhaps a more wheel spacer that'll make the wheel sit flush with the rear fenders would be ideal.. But would there be rubbing?

if your going with the 5mm spacer ... they are disc/hub centric but not hub centric to the rims. in order to get things lined up and balanced... i used some super glue to hold the spacer to the back of the rim (lining it up to the holes before setting in place). then the challenge is holding the rim in place to eyeball the centering and tighten the bolts at the same time. not easy to get it right. well i found the solution via my local mb parts manager...
i purchased 3 of these 5" long pins to assure perfect alignment. screw 3 in...finger tight... slide the wheel over the rods and install two bolts, removing a rod at a time and install the rest of the bolts for a perfect alignment.

C Coupe spacers
Hi Andrew,
Love the look of your Coupe.
I have a 2013 C350 Coupe Polar White / Almond Beige w/18'' AMG option wheels like yours.
I'm thinking of staying with 18 inchers but have been looking for "Chrome Mesh style Wheels". I NEED CHROME.
Do you know the "offset" of the 18" AMG wheels & the wheel width F&R ?
What offset would you recommend to get the same look if I were to find some new wheels and not use spacers?
Thanks for the "Tech Tip" on the alignment studs.
Don

Spacer
I am planning to add spacers to my CLA250 as well. but thinking 15mm in the back and 10mm in the front and I will be riding on stock height, not looking to mess with the suspension. Not sure what kind of extension lugs I would need. Seem like you did yours and hoping to get some advices/suggestions from you.
Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you!
