Gears being held extra long in Eco mode?
Hi all,
I've noticed something a bit strange for the past little bit and was hoping someone can provide some insight.
Since the summer heat has kicked in I've noticed that whenever the temperature outside is ~28 degrees celsius (~82 Fahrenheit) or higher (aka when the car engine really heats up) that the gears are being held much longer than normal. It's almost as if the car is in Sport mode because going from gear 2 to 3 the rev's hit almost 3000 RPM. Normally the shift occurs at about 1500 RPM.
It seems odd that the shifting of the gears would be impacted by the heat but I may be missing something here here. Has anyone else experience this issue?
