On the swiss catalog I see the new MY2013:

This version introduce some news in Command Online (now in gray background) and in the center screen, also the new gray trim around instruments.

Will be possibile upgrade the firmware (command and center screen) for see the new color? And also will be possibile change the trim around instrument (this i think of yes).

Yes, the COMAND screens use a black/silver look now.

Also, the blinker and speed limiter levers are exchanged now, so the blinker is "up". At least over here - I don't know if US cars also get this!?!?

Yes, the position change for the speed limiter and the blinker are changed (at least on the C, ML & GL).

Thanks for the confirmation. The switched levers were very irritating two days ago when I had a test drive of the new A class (W176). I always tried to blink with the limiter. :-D

What exactly do you mean? Alls menus and styles of the COMAND and "basic" Audio 20 are silver/black instead of brownish/black now.

If you are referring to the instrument cluster display, it rocks. Awfully close to retina grade and in color. Makes the Audio 20 display look pretty cheap.

Peio only the new models have the different graphics. All you can upgrade is the maps and not the graphics used.

Driving home tonight I noticed green lines on the highway for traffic and triangles for exits. I've never seen that before and usually it's the yellow or red cars for traffic. Do these systems automatically update or have I been totally oblivious to this?

Do you have 2012 model? I have 2012 and hate the red/yellow car traffic icons--it gets too cluttered when freeways intersect.

For some reason, a couple of my settings changed for whatever reason. I have a 2012 and there's actually no change but to get to my setup you go into NAVI-Map Settings-Traffic Information and then uncheck "Speed & Flow" and check "Free Flow."

Ahh yes, I know what you are talking about. Thought maybe they updated the maps similar to how google maps shows traffic flow.

I like this way more, except that when it's yellow and orange it's harder to see the traffic. The green is very obvious though. Having the cars makes it easier to see, but I agree that they can get cluttered. I need to play around with it more. My ideal setup would be using the colored lines, but make them more obvious (slow traffic line color blends with the actual highway color).
