My C350 4M coupe has landed at the dealer...
Hi all,
They still need to do the pre delivery inspection, detail it, and add some extras that I wanted, like the 3M guard, but I was there a few minutes ago and took some quick cell phone snaps. BTW, those rims look really awesome in the flesh and the polar white is REALLY white. With any luck, another day or two, and I should have it.
Here are the pictures...

Once I actually take possession, I'll shot some real pictures with a proper camera and hopefully they will show the detail a little better.

Nice car and I like the wheels. I bet polar white is very close to diamond white. Show us picture of arctic /diamond white car side by side with your car if you have chance.

how long did it take before the car landed in Canada? My dealership told me it would take between 3 to 4 months before i get my hands on mine. The wait is just killing me ! lol

Picked it up today and drove around all day, LOL....
I guess I was lucky with the wait. There were two already in transit coming in as dealer stock and I snapped up one of them. Had to wait exactly two weeks from the time I bought it to when I drove it away from the dealer.
I love it. Just a couple of lousy cell phone snaps for now, sorry. Noticed today that this Canadian 4Matic does not have a sport badge or a blue efficiency badge, but it does have the 4 matic badge inside. And as my Salesperson explained to me at the time of purchase, there are no paddles on 2013 Canadian market 4Matics (I believe he said that applied to 2012's too)...wasn't a deal breaker for me...I absolutely love the car.

It's not a bad feature. Is it completely necessary? Probably not, but if it's there, why not use it? It might be interesting to see how well any of those sensors and cameras work in winter weather. Will they ice and fog up or get covered in snow? We'll see, I guess.

i am hoping they won't! since i am getting delivery of my car sometime in December! i have to buy winter tires to put on the car so i can drive it from the dealer to my house OR get a flat bed.
it was either the rear view camera or the driving assistance package. I could not really come to terms to spend $800 for my car to tell me if someone is in my blind spot or if i am starting to swerve lanes lol then again i didn't have to spend $420 on a rear view camera as well lol
when you put the car in reverse, does the back up camera come on with any guidance lines? or is just a camera ?

It's a bit annoying. It beeped at me a couple of times today when I turned the signal on, but I knew someone was there and wasn't moving yet, and the car still alerted me. You can turn all that stuff off, by the way. I may just do that, or learn how to use it.
The thing that really freaked me out is when the car turns itself off when you're stoped with the car in drive. It does get started again as soon as you lift your foot off the brake. When you don't lay into the brake too heavily, it keeps running. Or you can just turn off Eco mode when you start the car. To be honest, it's so seamless that I think I might just keep it on most of the time.

the eco mode sounds like i have to get used to it but it saves me on gas i am not complaining. The lane assist sounds like it could come in handy but also could be an annoyance (but like you mentioned, you can turn it off and be done with it).
hows the backup cam?

I'm not used to using it yet. Still turn my head to look out the rear, but I used it today when I left the dealer. Was tight in there and had to back up while watching a courtesy van behind me. It came in handy then, I have to admit. But I could have backed out without it too. Just gave me a little more confidence, I guess.

Here, took a snapshot at a local dealership.
Magnetite black with the sport package,
I really can't debate on the bloody color I want, this or polar white, lol.

Bad Photo, but you get the point![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Edit:
I didn't like them at first, but after seeing them more often, they grew on me. They look really good in person on white/black.
