No, sadly mines a 2012, I wish Mercedes had some sort of new car program like subaru where if you buy a model and a few months after they release a new one with new features you pay a a certain amount and you can get the new one

The Map Pilot needs a "port" in the glove box that is connected to the radio. In Germany, the Map Pilot itself can be acquired much cheaper on eBay so it's reasonable to just buy the "port" and then get the Map Pilot afterwards.

There's also a difference in the flash memory capacity of Map Pilots, the first models only had 4 GB and newer ones have 8 GB (since 3/2013 onward). The newest map update for Europe that was published a few weeks ago won't fit completely on the 4 GB devices, but the Content Manager software used for updating allows you to select which countries you want to transfer to the device.

Some guy also found out that you can use the SD card slot on the Map Pilot for map data on 4 GB devices, but it's a bit of a hassle since the Content Manager won't allow you to transfer the data directly to the SD card drive.
