2012 C250 Coupe
Go Into Settings > Bluetooth
Then you will see your "MB Bluetooth" profile. Click on the blue circle with the right arrow to see more information. You will see some toggle switches. "Share Contacts" and "Share Notifications" (at least on the 2012 C250 newer comand you can share notifications). You can enable both to allow the sharing of your contacts and notifications (text messages) via your comand system.

Thanx for the feedback. I looked for that dialog when I first had the problem, but it was not available on the phone. I also have a BMW 550 which completely works and it does have the dialog which you described. I think that is the issue with the C300. The software in the car is not fully recognizing the phone. I wonder if there is an MB upgrade?
