C180K
Front suspension/steering

The other day I got into a little mishap of getting my c180k stuck in a driveway. It was quite narrow and had to bump up and down quite a steep kerb to get out.

Since, my front left suspension seems to be sagging and the handling is not so great. Anytime I go over a slight bump the steering feels vague but the car seems to sway around, even at low speed. At higher speeds ie motorway it just feels damn dangerous and pretty hard to keep the car in a straight line.

One shop has told me I need to replace both front shocks and droplinks, then get my tracking redone etc.

Another has told me the coil spring on that one sagging side is bust.

The first quote is around £400, second job obv cheaper.

I'm not very happy that to shops have given me different diagnoses and I was wondering what you guys think?

I thought a busted ball joint on that side may be a shout.
