Need help choosing
I am looking for a new car and it is between two of them: The ATS 2.0T manual and the Mercedes C250 (either sedan or coupe).
I know there are pros and cons for both, but wanting your opinions.
I know the ATS has more power, but that's not my main concern.
Can you help this poor soul?
Thanks in advance.

I didn't even know it came with a 2.0L Variant. I thought it was only V6's, considering I think this is the first time in probably 5+ years that Cadillac is offering anything less than a 6 cyl engine.

Mainly what I am wanting is the pros and cons of the MB250. Thru a few friends, I am hearing that the MB is notorious for having small things break and always in the shop and they are telling me to steer away from the brand.

My C300 is 5 years old this coming may and I have had no major issues thus far, *knock on wood*

Go for the C350
Not a fan of anything GM makes but the ATS does look nice. I havent seen one close up yet to check out the quality.
As far as the C250 goes its just a 4cyl car with lots of turbo lag and small brakes. I would pass on this.
You should go test drive the C350 the 6cyl has a real nice engine growl to it and excellent larger brakes that the C250.

The better comparison as I said before would be the 328i sedan and the ATS 2.0T, the BMW has the better lease program between the two of them. The C250 is slower than the other two, otherwise everything else is pretty much the same offering.

Have you had a chance to drive both of them yet. If not take each on a decent test drive and then see what your gut tells you.
If after driving them you're still undecided because you like them both sit in the back of each car and see how tight one compares to the other.
Since you're a realtor I assume you occasionally drive clients around. If you feel one is more comfortable than the other maybe that could be your deciding factor.

Either way for what it's worth don't rely on other peoples opinions, you may be swayed on them - just take your time and pick what's best for 'you' for all of 'your own' reasons regardless of what other people think

One thing to keep in mind is there is a significant difference in the day to day use of a two door coupe versus a four door sedan. I have had both types for multiple years and actually find I like the four door better. The two door coupes look very sporty and it is easy for a large person to get in and out if you can open the door fully. If not, that is where the difference lies. In my two car garage it is much easier to access the C300 sedan with the shorter doors than my C350 Coupe. I also find it easier to throw my brief case or other items behind the front seats via the rear doors in the sedan. In my coupe I normally use the trunk because it is so much easier than moving the front seats. I realize this is a minor issue but if you are using the vehicle for real estate having easy access to the back seat and the trunk seem to me to be of value.
