2012 C350 Coupe
When should I get an oil change?
My 2012 C350 coupe only has approx 5000 miles on it but it has been a year since I purchased the vehicle? What are your guys' thoughts on getting an oil change? Wait until later or change the oil now? Also approx how much does it cost for an oil change at the MB dealership?

Your dashboard will tell you when you need to change the oil.

The conservative approach is 12 months or 10K miles as johnny--2K stated.

Depending on your dealership it can be pretty pricey. My dealership had a coupon, for $189. I think their regular price was $229. I think I might do mine myself next time, lol.

Why would it be so expensve?

In Toronto, the oil change is typically around $150 CAN. This inludes the oil filter and 8L of Mobile-One 0w40.

My dealer did it for $103.xx plus a $25 coupon.

seeig i dont drive much. i cange mine perhaps once a year. i only drive 3-5k/year. however, rpyal purple came out with a iold for MB a shade over a year ago AND transmission fluid.
i went to the dealer to buy dip sticks to the motor oil and trans. a bit price'y. but i can check it and see if it is 1/4 low...instead of waiting for th elight to show you are atleast 1qrt low
