Doable. You will need at least the camera and the windshield is different. Also control module, wire harness ans left and right radars that are mounted in the rear bumper if you don't have BSA.

In the end, like the previous poster stated, it's not worth the cost to retrofit. I regret not getting the driver assistance package when I ordered my car.

Capt Paul...Why do you regret not getting it? Is it because of the blind spots in the car?

Thanks

Well, to order the package when ordering the car would have only been a fraction of the price of the retrofit. I am currently adding the Blind Spot Assist, as well as the folding rearview mirrors on my C350. The folding mirrors cost about $1400 Euro to convert, and another $1500 or so for the BSA

folding mirrors? I have never had the need to have folding mirrors. I have blind spot assist but I still can't trust it 100% yet. I see you have the same sport plus package that I have . Do you know if our steering wheel is thicker than the regular steering wheel?

The blind spot assist (BSA), however, is more useful in preventing accidents over the lane tracking portion of the package

IMHO the folding mirrors option is a very good one as in most cases when you leave your car parked and the mirrors are stowed away, it can make the difference between them being swipped off or not by another negligent driver, or bike rider.

I also sometimes use this feature (manual activation) when stationary at a set of lights and spot a push bike rider approaching way too close and about to collide into them and then just flip them back out afterwards

Steering wheel is the same thickness, but has a different profile/shape and extent of the perforated grip section between standard and AMG/AMG plus units

Agree

First car I've owned with this feature and miss it everytime I step into and drive another car without it.
