Fuel Pump Issues

Hey everyone. I have a 2012 C250 coupe with moderate mods (intake, catback straight pipe to quad tips, 19" vertini concave, and loads of plastidip ). I drive my car very "enthusiastically" for lack of a better word, and my low capacity fuel pump (I think that's what it's called) keeps going out on me at WOT. This happened after I straight piped my car. The dealership denied coverage and said there would be a high probability that they could section 8 my car's warranty. The only thing I can think of that could cause this, aside from a faulty fuel pump, could be the reduced back pressure causes more boost to build resulting in a greater intake of air so the ecu tries to adjust AFR's by dumping in more fuel causing the high capacity pump to function and not the low capacity pump. Whenever this happens, the car throws a check engine and is virtually powerless even though it revs up high. Any ideas on what it could be?

Try disconnecting negative terminal on battery for 10 minutes and reconnecting to reset ecu? Also, do you have JB tune?

I ran some 100 octane fuel in it and it seemed to fix the issue. I don't have the tune because I was worried that it might add to my cars problems.
