Recommendations for Summer Tires?

Hello everyone,

I wanted to get some summer wider summer tires and wanted to see what you guys recommend. I'll be honest, I'm not very impressed with the quality of the stock Continentals we get.

The rear tires are 245, I'm wondering if 255 all around will fit our cars?

Thanks!

The problem is not whether it will fit or not, but whether your speed readings will be off. But to answer your question, 255 will fit stock rims. Same width all around is good for handling, but comes at a compromise as well...

Regarding whether your speed reading will be off, use this calculator. Plug your current tire size and your desired tire size into the calculator. It'll tell you if your speed's off.. Play around with the new tire size until you get a combination that gives you the most accurate speed reading.

Can't go wrong with Pirelli P Zero or Michelin Pilot Super Sport. The Advan Sports on the performance package C63s are good too.

I'm trying Yokohama Advan Neova AD08s. Heard good things about them from many people. These are a more aggressive choice though.

Thanks guys! Aside from the speedometer reading, any other compromises I should be aware of?

I could suggest one I am driving (Bridgestone Potenza Pole Position S04), great tires improving performance a lot. Yes and I went wider on rear 255. Stock tires is really crappy, however you will find tons of stock tires lovers here.
