2012 C350 cgi coupe fuel economy
Hello all. I am considering buying the above. The balance of performance with economy in a rarely seen car looks amazing. However I am a little sceptical of the claimed 40mpg combined. Are there any owners out there who can give me any real world numbers. I tend to drive long distances at between 70 and 80 mph (unless I am out to enjoy myself!!). My current 3ltr petrol BMW gives me a regular 35mpg. Any input really appreciated. Many thanks for reading.

I have 20K miles on my US C350 and find that I get 28-30 MPG on long interstate trips at 75-85 MPH. If I keep it under 70 then 30-32 is possible. Of course these are US Gallons not Imperial, so you may have to do some math.
My overall mileage for the last 18 months is 25 MPG which is pretty impressive for a 302HP engine and 3600Lb car.

That is great feedback thank you very much. Your numbers come out at around 36mpg in imperial gallons which I am more than happy with. Now to go and source the right car. Many thanks again.
