bent wheel advice

So, I took my car(I have a 2012 C250 coupe) to the dealer for regular service and also because I've been hearing an ungodly loud amount of noise coming from my front wheels. They told me that both my front wheels are bent, one tire has a bubble in it, and the bands/belts in the other tire have shifted. I have hit some pretty nasty pot holes, so I can see this as a possibility. But when I look at the wheels, I don't see any damage. I even had one of the wheels off the car. They wanted to charge me $200 a wheel to fix them and another $250/tire. I have the upgraded 18" AMG style wheels with the Perelli PZero Nero tires. So, I have a few questions:

1. Is it better to get the wheels fixed or replaced?
2. Are there other places that fix wheels other than the dealership?
3. Does this seem like a fair price?
I see the Perelli P Zero Nero's on Tire rack for $169 for the front
4. I have about 22,000 miles on the car, should I just replace all 4 tires?
5. I have the staggered set up, 18x8 in the front and 18x8.5 in the rear, can I replace the front wheels with the 18x8.5 wheels, so they are all the same? Will they fit?
6. Any suggestions on new tire? The Continental Extreme Contact DW look good on Tire Rack.

Thanks in advance

~ the wheels can be repaired but do not expect perfect results for they typically focus on the face of the wheel and don't pay much attention to the inside of the rim; leaving overspray along with a rough finish. i'm a detail freak so this would bother me but perhaps not a concern to others.

as for the tires i have purchased the conti extreme dws tires and love them (all seasons).

i would suggest looking for a 'take off' set of factory wheels with low mileage and get all four with tires for about the same price as the repairs and 2 tires.

ebay listing - just (4 oem) rims with less than 100 miles:

Andrew,

Thanks for the reply. Fortunately, there is no surface damage(no scuffing, scraping), they are just bent. I see the link, and that's $1000 for a set of four wheels, with no tires. I don't really see how that's any cheaper. I really only need to replace/repair two of the wheels. How long have you had the Contis? How are they as far as road noise/comfort and performance?

~ i would determine see if the rims could be straightened simply on the backside without refinishing the front side of wheels. typically most rims bent on the inside lip because you don't have the face support.

this is a company i used in the past: http://www.wheelmedic.com

contis are great... no road noise but i rotate every 5k for they're not directional tires.
