Vandalized .. :(
Went Wegmans (Woodbridge, NJ) to buy lunch, got back in 15min and here we go... shopping cart got slammed into passenger door and front fender very hard. Considering I would never park near by any other shoppers - it is vandalizm. Called Geico and open claim, hope people who hate my car or any other Mercedes will die soon ... 
Sorry, just very mad of damage and need to warn people to don't repeat my mistake and park 3 miles away of any supermarket.

Good news, I went to the Wegmans store manager with estimate from Geico, they took pictures and asked for another estimate. After this someone from Wegmans head office contacted me and asked to fax them both estimates. After one day of review they called and agreed to send me check in full amount based on Geico estimate

Thats GREAT!! I am as someone else said surprised but glad for you that they did. Walmart did nothing for me when something similar happened to me. My daughter hates to go to the store with me, i park VERY FAR away,people just respect others vehicles its a shame nowadays..

I am enjoying driving it but I feel like my car is around animals in jungle when I stop such places and have to leave it alone ... My wife told me that I am sick on my cars, but what can I do? As you see in my example it is worse to ask store manager about.

Years ago, I had my 450SL vandalized in my driveway at night. Several other vehicles in my neighborhood were also hit. I reported to insurance company who I thought might be involved. Insurance paid for a complete repaint, and some other damage...broken headlights, mirrors, radio antenna, etc. All minus my $1,000 deductible. Then 3 months later, I received a check for my deductible. It seems the insurance company worked with police to question and prove that the kids I thought were involve finally fessed up. And they were on the hook for a $6,000 bill for my car. And some $21,000 more for the other vehicles. As happy as I was with that outcome, some three years later one of the kids...the ring leader...16 years old, fell off a rope swing and was paralyzed for life. I really felt bad about that. But maybe that helped him avoid other more terrible future consequences.
Oh...and I am still with that same insurance company...Amica.
