Hey Guys,

I recently moved my (month old) C250 coupe from San Jose to Houston and I've been having an issue with the GPS. The GPS is showing me in the highway access road when I'm on the highway and vice versa. Also, sometimes it will show me in the middle express portion of the highway when I'm on the regular highway or access road. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the antenna but it was still happening. They pulled another new C250 and they were having similar results. They contacted MB and this is the response:

DTS agent confirmed your findings betweenn a c class and a ml. the c class shows 1second more on the west axis than does the ml. In my case 6 satelites. This appears to be a normal phenomenon, no repair recommendation made.

I'm a little disappointed with the response from MB (and also the dealership experience but that's another story) and was wondering if I there is anything I can do about this or who I need to follow up with at MB.

Try a different dealership.

Any particular reason? I was also thinking of maybe trying a different dealership but the answer seems to have come from Mercedes directly.

From my experience headquarters just send out standard answers to customers. I know it's a slim chance but you might be able find a more knowledgeable tech.
