Check injection rubber cover
Today I open the hood , remove plastic cover to clean an engine. I found this
the rubber tube which cover injection wire broken. At first, I guess its come from rat. However after I look closely
It has some tear from inside, yes,it seem this rubber tube has a quality problem. May come from heat from Turbo or engine bay. I concern on this previously because it has no heating tape shield on one side ,so I took a photo since 3 month ago (Dec 2013,left picture) , it still in a good condition.
My car is around 11 month. Very new condition & not brutal use, mostly drive in sub urban area. So, please check your car with M274 engine. I 'm not sure this problem occur on M271 engine or not.
This case I suppose I can claim MB dealer without problem because it has a tear from inside. Will see what they respond.
