cold start car noise
Hello All:
I am a newbie here, Just brought a 2013 C180 coupe c204 demo car few weeks ago,This my first MB.
I realised noise when I cold start my car in the morning, noise will be disappeared after 30 second to few minutes.
The delaer mechanic told me that noise is normal. does anyone has experience about this? Thanks for any help. Richard from Sydney.

2013 Mercedes C350 Coupe
I had the same questions with my 2013 C350 Coupe. I bought it in November and it just sounds like it starts rough, but I took it in and the service manager said nope, that is just the normal sounds.
Still getting used to it starting and sounding compared to my previous car, which was a Nissan Altima V4

Thank you all the reply. I been told by mechanic I can't compare other car's.
I don't have the noise in my other 2 brand new cars(Toyota Camry, Volvo XC90).
anyway, the noise is gone in few mins,car is running beautifully !

I bet it's a diesel. This is normal as the oil takes a minute or two to reach the guides.
If you accelerate gently it will go away quicker. Nothing to worry about.
