Video of 2004 c class coupe 3.2 exterior squeak
Hi all.
I have searched the forum but cannot find anything that sounds like my problem.
There is a weird exterior squeak/chirping that happens intermittently under acceleration, deceleration, over bumps and sometimes whilst turning and at idle. I presume it is coming from the engine bay, but cannot say for certain. It is not constant but seems to be present more and more recently. The sound/pitch does not change whether idling, braking or acceleration
MB Dealer said they couldn't replicate it and see nothing wrong. I played this clip to them of the sound too. Drove it back from the dealer and it was there within minutes. It has been colder recently (4 deg or less) not sure if that plays a part in it.
