CLC 180 Kompressor
Question Mercedes Benz CLC 180

Hi everyone,

I bought a CLC 180 Kompressor, which I am happy with, I am tuning the engine but was also thinking of getting a body kit for it.

Now the dilemma I face is 1) not too sure where to look for one and surprisingly there isn't that much online. 2) my car is a 2010, and it looks more in particular from the fornt, like the W204 models, but apparently it is based on the W203 models. So if I did find a body kit, would it have to be a W203 or W204 in order to fit?

If anybody could help with this, I would be grateful.

Natty

I'm fairly certain the CLC's were all part of the W/C203 model series.

AFAIK your 2010 would be a CL203.

You can research everything you need online, if you find a body kit supplier they will usually require your VIN to make sure of compatibility.

Here's one info link for you:

Thanks for that, will keep looking online. I just would prefer a specific kit rather than a universal one that is adapted. If any body knows any good body kit shops in the UK please do let me know.

CLC Body Kit

After having a further look it does seem that there is no CLC body kit as such. If the body kit for the W203 models which share the same platform/chassis would apparently require major modification to fit my car.

The only images of body kitted CLC are all in Germany, which makes me think these were made by Merceds - Benz / AMG directly.

If anyone as any info that would help it would be appreciated or do I simply need t change my car if I want to tune it??? Really like that one though

what I have

what I would like to change it to (but in red)

If no one here chimes in then just do more searching online specifically for that type of body kit and you should find them

I'm from Australia and own 2 Opels also from Germany, I've found numerous body parts for them sourced directly from Germany after doing research online.

A few companies I've dealt with are Lenk, Rieger and Irmscher, they supply some excellent aftermarket and also some OEM parts.

If the kit you've shown above is OEM then you should be able to find and source it, try also MB Germany and U.S parts inventories, if you find something you can source from the U.S they are a lot cheaper than from anywhere else in the World.

Wish we all could buy cars and car parts as cheaply as you can in the U.S

Grab a copy of Mercedes Enthusiast, theres a couple of places in there that have engine tuning & body kits for CLC's. Cant remember the full name but its like CKS Performance in the UK. Hope that can help

thank you all for your, Ill be sure to follow up with some pictures once I get it done. May actually go for universal parts and get them adapted.
