06 230 brake replacement info
I'm going to be "helping" my neighbor figure out the shimmy he's getting out of the brakes on his 06 C230 next weekend and I need a little info. First off, I am mechanically savvy, just trying to figure out some of the nuances of this car. After doing a quick search, I found that some models of MB's have a tow away alarm that can cause issues if I jack the car up without disabling it. Also, it looks like I have to disable the ABS pump before compressing the caliper pistons. Questions I have are: how do I determine this car has these features, what are the procedures to disable them and are there any other electronic features that can cause headaches?
