Constant input while highway driving. Anyone same exp?
I am a new member, and have an 2012 C250 that I bought used with 28k miles. Clean title, and bought it CPO from dealership. I have already installed the BMS Intskae, ECU tuner, Rado Full exhaust (except downpipe), and have installed 19" TSW ROgue wheels. Even before I had the wheels installed, ive noticed (only while driving on highway, so 60+ mph), that I would have to keep putting "input" into the steering, and correct the steering, due to the wheel slightly turning right, and left. The cars wheels are balanced, and the alignment is not an issue. Its the oddest thing because I have no idea why it does this. Its the same feeling as if you driving on the highway through strong wind currents. How it makes the car feel like its hopping around all over the place. Ive had a lot of other drivers become very nervous because it seems I cant keep the car in a straight line, but city driving is fine. Wheels balanced, alignment is fine. This problem has been with me ever since I bought the car without nay mods, especially the wheel upgrades. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.
You may want to advise them of your - ah - "hopping" issue
In other news, the Iridium coupe - at 27550 miles now - continues as the finest looking car I've ever owned.
Best of luck to you.
