C63 Style Exhaust system for 2011 C-Class Coupe AMG Sport (advice needed)

Hi guys.
Before I start I'd just like to let everyone know I'm a newbie here and I really don't know much at all about tuning cars and all of that, but I'm here so that I can learn as much as I can.
Anyways, after a long time of working hard and putting in loads of overtime, I'm finally looking to buy a first car which will be a 2011/12 C-class Coupe AMG Sport. I'm looking around at the moment and hopefully will have it within the next month or two.

So when I get the car I'm just gonna do a couple of simple things first but the first major thing I'll be doing is sticking on a C63-style quad exhaust sytem. I just need a bit of advice on which one to get and how to get the best possible sound from it. I definitely don't want to be cheap here, so after a quick browse online I found one I'm really interested in from Armytrix;

http://www.armytrix.com/Mercedes-Benz-C.php

I emailed them a couple of months back for a quote and the quote was coming out to around £1,400 if I remember correctly. Do you guys think this would be reasonable or are there any better sounding systems out there with a better price tag?
The thing with this one is that it fits C180/C200/C250 (I suppose that's not a problem) but I've heard it won't fit on the Diesel models.

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

I would check with your dealer first but my guess is as long as you go with the cat-back you should be okay on your warranty. They dealer would have to prove that what you installed is the direct result of any malfunction or issue(s). Again, I could be wrong but you will be allot more safe with warranty and emissions is you go with a cat back.

I've been looking at the same exhaust for my c250 coupe and Armytrix is one of the only companies I've seen so far that offers the c63 look. Best of luck and keep us posted.

Just got off the phone with my Mercedes dealership and the service manager told me that any aftermarket parts hold the potential to void warranties should a CEL or any issues come up after installing the products. He mentioned that if you are going to install any aftermarket parts to double and triple check to make sure that the person doing the installation knows what they are doing so that things are done right and won't cause any future problems.

Hope this all helps. I live in California and the are EXTREMELY strict on car emissions but typically if there is no CEL you are good to go and fly under the radar. Not that I condone such acts.

If you're just looking for exhaust note and the c63 look, what you could do (which will end up being much cheaper and a lot more customizable) is get a c63 diffuser off ebay and have a body shop install it for you (or just do it yourself). Then have a muffler shop replace your stock mufflers with whatever exhaust note you're looking for, and then buy the c63 look exhaust tips off ebay and have them slap those on.

I got a carbon fiber c63 look diffuser, magnaflow mufflers, and akrapovic tips for < $900 (labor included).
