Hi,

I have a chance to purchase a 2012 C250 coupe with amg package

My question is:
i drive very little and i've had more powerful cars before that i couldn't stretch for months, so i'm not big on bigger engine.
Is the 1.8L reliable engine and is the C250 except the engine considered lower level model?
The one i look has all the features i want, what else is in there that this model doesn't have?

What i'm trying to decide, is it worth spending additional few grand if i don't need the V6 engine?

From what I've read, the C350 doesn't possess the trans lag delay like the 250 models. My 250 is plenty fast though and shifts much better in Sport Mode. She does get about 33 mpg on the highway and around 25-28 mpg around town and is still a blast to drive. Good luck with your decision!

250 is 4 cylinder Turbo
350c is V6 AWD NA

I live in New York, AWD is a necessity.
250 has some tuning / mod options 350c, really has nothing aside from intake filter & exhaust.

350c is a 7 speed Auto, no loss in power band from shifting.

....sure agree - speaking of the C250 1.8 4-cyl turbo - with the Plymouth (MA) owner on the rather remarkable highway MPG...............

.....also - IMHO now - it's truly a beautiful car. I really don't drive it very much. But the little coupe makes any trip very special.
