C204 Rear seat conversion?
Hi all,
I am currently driving a C250 W204, and am contemplating trading in for a C63 C204. The dilemma that I have is that on rare occasions, I need to carry 4 passengers (kids).
I came across this rear seat conversion on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/251459171091.
I am very interested in this, and would like to know more about it. I have contacted the seller twice for more info - but as yet have received no reply. There is alot of positive feedback for this fix for a BMW X6, but nothing for a C204. Has anyone installed this?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Erko

It just seems like you remove the rear center console and add this padded piece in it's place which sounds great on paper but there would be no seat belts for your kid. Seems like it would be easy enough to put on. Seems expensive ($380.00 US) for basically foam wrapped in pleather.

Hey Atlas_Grey - thanks for the reply.
The listing does come with the "middle" seat belt.
Just too much of an unknown for me to risk it to go ahead.

I see that now. Looks like you would have to remove both current seat bottoms to access the current seat belts. You would remove the two seat belt latches and place the new belts on there with what appears to be longer bolts. Make sense from a practical perspective. These are obviously just lap belts but it should work. Maybe 2 hours worth of work total.
