I've been looking around and I couldn't find a straight forward answer to my question. I'm blacking out the front grill, but my only problem is the little "diamonds" in the back. Can I black them out, will plastidip work? What should I use for the best look? HELP

Just spit balling here, i think with all the intricacies plastic dip would make a mess. Primer followed by matte black Krylon would do the job, but it would be more or less permanent again due to the intricacies.

FYI I sprayed my w209 grill last night matte black. I dusted the whole thing with filler primer as the plastic chrome looked a lot worse once I got it in the house, lots of tiny pits. I then sprayed it with Krylon matte black. Came out awesome, I left the center chrome strip and the star chrome. I figured worst case scenario I buy a new single slat grill off ebay if I didn't like the results so I went with paint instead of plasti-dip.
