Door hinge stops

2013 Mercedes C250 Coupe
Door hinge stops
So I am a little puzzled. I have noticed that my '13 Coupe's doors have only 2 hinge stops. One kinda close to the car, and the other is the door wide open one. I bring this up because my wife's '13 sedan's doors have 3 stops 
Hers is a W204 as well. Very odd. I thought maybe the drivers door hinge was just very worn, although the car only has 29750 miles, but the passenger door is exactly the same. I cannot find any logical reason for this....unless the coupe's doors just don't open as wide as the sedans, being the coupes doors are longer? Was wondering if anyone else has noticed this....
