Retrofitting Auto-folding mirrors in 2015 C204
Hello,
I am looking to retrofit auto-folding door mirrors (with puddle lights) to my 2015 C204. I tried searching the forum and I couldn't find much information on retrofitting folding mirrors. My vehicle sadly only has manual folding mirrors with no puddle lights. I'm looking to retrofit the equipment myself and have a STAR ONLINE technician code the retrofit to the vehicle. Am I right in assuming that the only equipment I would need is:
1) New driver door switch with the button to open/close the auto-folding mirrors (A1729056900)
2) 2x Auto-folding mirrors with puddle lights.

You would likely need new door control modules as well.
The hard pard is to get the folding mirror code loaded into VEDOC. That is a higher level function that a typical dealership does not have access to.
