2002 Mercedes Benz C230K transmission clutch help!
Hello I currently am driving at 175000 miles and about 200 miles ago I noticed a slight slipping in the transmission. I got the car that's been sitting for a few months up and running. Just replaced the alternator and gave it an oil change and new plugs. The car still dies after driving 30 miles round trip so I'm assuming I just need a new battery after jump starting it everyday for a month and then letting it sit but that's a different issue is gladly take advice on as well. Anyways back on track I'm looking to replace the clutch but I'm a 21 year old with low income and can't afford to do the 500$ clutch kit but my local AutoZone has the clutch (flywheel?) And I'm in need of advice on of I could just save the 300$ and do that and a guide on how to replace it DIY and links and photos would greatly help.
