Shredded Belt and 2 Stuck Pulleys and Tensioner

Shredded Belt and 2 Stuck Pulleys and Tensioner
Hello,
Wife had some problems with her car and after reading the forum, want to make sure I'm straight.
This afternoon, she heard a "weird" sound that she could not describe or remember...
When getting close to home, the red battery light came on and she lost power steering.
I looked under the hood and the serpentine belt was shredded. Got a new one but there are 2 pulleys that I can't spin (#1, #6 on all the diagrams I've seen) - The (big) vibration damper (crankshaft?) pulley closer to the middle, and the smooth idler pulley (i think this is correct) - it just says "pulley" on the diagram, but it's the small one up top.
Do I also need to replace the tensioner pulley?
Is it common for (2) pulleys to seize up at the same time, and what was likely the cause?
