2012 c250 coupe
camshaft adjusters
hello everyone, i recently started up my c250 (w204) and had an awful noise coming from the engine. I did some research and found out it is most likely the camshaft adjusters, i have done quite a bit of research and some people have said that since MB has made a new part and part # the issues no longer came up once the old part # is replaced. I was wondering if anyone has used anything other than OEM parts to replace the camshaft adjusters because as most of you know MB OEM parts aren't the cheapest. Also has anyone done the job themselves and if so how difficult of a job was it? I have access to all necessary tools and equipment.
